Communications/Marketing Internship

Project Description:

Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing & Events, the intern will assist in the Public Relations, Marketing, and Events efforts at the museum.  

Duties may include:

  • Internet research and data entry
  • Promotional writing and editing
  • Assisting with on-site needs at special events (on evenings and weekends)
  • Off-site promotions of special events

Hours:

Flexible depending on department and intern needs.

Compensation:

This is an unpaid internship.

Qualifications:

  • Some college experience necessary, preferably in the Communications, PR, or Marketing fields
  • Some work experience in a related field
  • Possess excellent written communication skills
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experienced with all Microsoft Office programs and internet research
  • Be able to complete assigned tasks on time and is attentive to details
