Take a step back in time with a guided or self-guided tour of the museum, and daily guided tours of the historic Hezekiah Alexander Homesite. Experience Charlotte’s past as a costumed docent takes you back to the 18th century. Guided tours of the homesite are available daily at 1:15pm and 3:15pm. Tours are limited to 20 people. Please register at the desk when you arrive at the museum, as tours are first come, first serve. Groups may call in advance to arrange for a personalized tour and schedule. The Charlotte Museum of History is a barrier free site that offers a covered entryway in the event of inclement weather.
