As the Museum prepares for a phased re-opening, our Spring 2021 special events will be virtual. Most of these virtual events are free, together with new digital learning opportunities for children and families available on our Digital Learning page. We also can schedule interactive, virtual field trips for schools. For details, visit our Programs for Schools page.
We need your financial support to serve the community during this challenging time and to keep protecting Charlotte’s oldest home, the 1774 Alexander Rock House.
The Charlotte Museum of History exists to save and share the Charlotte region’s history, helping create a better understanding of the past and inspiring dialogue about the future. The Education Department of the Museum invites you to join us in learning about the Queen City through online video series, activities, virtual exhibits, conversations with historians, and school programs as well as celebrations and commemorations of important events and themes in our shared history.
