Birdwatching on the Homesite

Join us for a 1.5-hour guided bird walk through the historic homesite, led by Anne Olsen - avid birder, volunteer, and expert spotter of all things feathered. Winter is one of the best times to observe the many species that call the homesite home, and participants can expect to see 15–20 different birds along the way.
This relaxed outdoor walk will take you across the grounds as Anne shares tips for identification, insight into winter bird behavior, and a deeper appreciation for the wildlife that thrives among our historic landscape.
Please bring your own binoculars, bundle up, and wear close-toed shoes suitable for uneven terrain.
