Step inside the Rock House to explore 18th-century North Carolina winter traditions, festive customs, and the realities of everyday life in the backcountry.

Your guide will lead you both indoors and across the grounds, illuminated with soft lighting that preserves the magic of nighttime at the homesite. Please note that while the paths will be lit, navigating the terrain after dark is different from visiting during the day, and guests will need to walk up a few hills as part of the experience.
