Join us on Saturday, May 24, for special guided tours of the 1774 Rock House that highlight stories of Mecklenburg County’s Revolutionary past and the spirit behind the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. Tours will be offered at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, giving you multiple chances throughout the day to explore the oldest surviving home in the county through the lens of early independence.

While you're at the museum, don’t miss our newest exhibit, MeckDec250, opening May 20. The exhibit dives into the history and legacy of the Mecklenburg Declaration and its lasting impact on Charlotte’s identity.
