Join the Charlotte Museum of History for Voices of Liberty, an evening of spoken word, storytelling, and community connection, inspired by the United States’ Semiquincentennial and led by four local poets.

Through the performance of original pieces, they will explore the complicated themes of freedom, belonging, identity, and the pursuit of happiness. Following each performance, guests will be invited into facilitated conversations, creating spaces for both reflection and dialogue.

Whether you come to listen or to share, Voices of Liberty invites you to both consider America’s founding principles and what it means to pursue them today.
