Your support empowers us to advocate for Charlotte's built environment, share our region's stories through innovative programs and exhibits, and build community through important dialogues. We are committed to providing tools that help Charlotte learn from the past to create a future with greater opportunity for all.
We cannot do this without you!

Historic structures sometimes require a little extra TLC. We are looking to renovate the log kitchen to allow for 18th century cooking demonstrations to once again take place on the site.
The Mecklenburg Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a special fundraiser on Friday, September 29, 2023 in support of the restoration.
Did you know historic objects and structures need to be kept at a constant temperature? Changes in temperature and humidity cause rapid deterioration of objects and can lead to problems such as mold, brittleness, and other devastating issues. The Museum is looking for support to help upgrade and perform needed replacements of aging parts.
