African American Heritage Festival
The African American Heritage Festival is Charlotte Museum of History’s largest annual event, bringing the community together for a vibrant celebration of Black history, culture, and achievement. This festival features live performances, educational experiences, local vendors, food, family activities, and other opportunities to engage with the people and stories that have shaped the Charlotte region.

Charlotte Gem Awards
The Charlotte Gem Awards is the Museum's premier fundraising event and celebrates Charlotte’s unique history and culture. Join us to help honor local educators, preservation projects, and the next generation of advocates and historians, all while raising critical operating funds for the Queen City’s oldest history museum.
