Inside The Museum

The Museum’s main building is fully wheelchair accessible. There are accessible single-stall restrooms available in the Museum. Seating is available in the main lobby and in limited galleries. Audio tours are not available at this time.

The Grounds & Homesite

The 1774 Alexander Homesite is a beautiful setting on top of a hill. Guided tours of the Homesite include periods of walking and periods of standing for several minutes. There is a paved path from the Museum building to the Homesite that can be accessed by a motorized wheelchair or a wheelchair that can be pushed. The herb garden and path to the kitchen is gravel. The interiors of the house, log kitchen, and springhouse are not accessible by wheelchair. Please let us know if anyone in your party may benefit from special accommodations.
