Celebrate the Restoration of the Log Kitchen!

Join us at the Charlotte Museum of History on September 14 from 10 AM to 2 PM for the Carolina's Home Cooking event, marking the official reopening of the restored Log Kitchen. The event features a live cooking demonstration and book talk by renowned culinary historian Michael Twitty, as well as food samples following historic recipes using modern techniques, prepared by culinary students from Johnson & Wales University. Come and explore the newly renovated kitchen while enjoying a day filled with rich culinary history and delicious flavors.

*Historic foods are not for public consumption but for educational demonstrations. Food samples by Johnson & Wales culinary students available on a first-come first-serve basis.*
