The 1775 Charlotte diorama is an award-winning diorama of Charlotte on the eve of the American Revolution. Visitors can use the buttons to highlight long-gone buildings such as the original city jail, alongside modern-day landmarks like Trade and Tryon streets.
Note: While we rotate our exhibit displays and prepare for the upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations, the diorama will be not be available for viewing. We will refurbish the display and it will be available for viewing in 2025. Please contact info@charlottemuseum.org with questions.
